지인의 반려묘 ‘까루’는 9살에 무지개 다리를 건넜다. 주인은 까루의 영정 사진을 보여주며, 그림으로 남기고 싶다고 부탁했다. 꽃 향기를 맡는 모습이 인상 깊었던 까루의 모습을 담아, 그림 속에서는 꽃 향기를 느끼며 행복하게 무지개 너머에서 지내는 모습을 표현하고자 했다.
Garu, a beloved cat of a close friend, passed away at the age of nine. The owner shared a memorial photo and asked me to create a painting to honor Garu’s memory.
I chose to depict Garu happily smelling flowers—capturing a peaceful moment as if resting beyond the rainbow bridge. This piece is meant to reflect comfort and the gentle spirit Karu carries on.
